Position Summary:  Cleaning Supervisor leads the Contents staff and Restoration Technicians to ensure contents handling procedures meet FOS and customer goals. Maximize restoration and mitigation opportunities that provide value for our customer and improved GP to the job. Coach and support crew members on implementing correct contents handling procedures in a timely fashion. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all personnel, sub-contractors, including branch personnel are following and are trained on the company health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Participate in or conduct tail gate meetings relating to health and safety and work procedures when on site
  • Develop a performance culture through providing all employees on your team with regular feedback and specific development plans
  • Promote a culture of ‘employer of choice’ to attract, retain and motivate the best quality team
  • Manage and supervise Restoration Technicians for contents restoration projects
  • Assign tasks to Restoration Technicians and verify quality and service levels
  • Train and educate new employees on company policy and restoration procedures
  • Participation in 24/7 management on call rotation


Education and Experience

  • Minimum High School graduate or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in the restoration/emergency industry, preferably working in the Emergency & Contents division
  • Relevant cleaning and environmental experience  considered an asset
  • Formal training in a related field

Desired certifications

  • Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician (FSRT) certification
  • Odor Control Technician certification (OCT)
  • Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) certification
  • Proficiency with Technology
  • Possesses the educational requirements to obtain certification in:
  • Commercial Carpet Cleaning (CCT)
  • Carpet Repair and Reinstallation (RRT)
  • Upholstery & Fabric Cleaning (UFT)
